The Rock and Sand Club Loop: No Bueno

They killed it! That is what they did to my Rock and Sand Club Loop. The one stretch that was fast with flow and twists is now wide and boring - a road in other words. That meant I had to look elsewhere for interest, luckily I found some in other places - the dried and cracked former mud flat with their 3.67 million year old footprints, the little pink pony, some rising renaissance cheers from across the lake at Port Deptford, a cluster of bright pink flowers growing in one small patch, and the river, when it is flowing, is always good for a pause and a ponder.
